Our story

Our production facility, Les Frigorifiques Bouzargtoun, was founded in 1980 and is seated in Casablanca, Morocco. The company processes fresh fish, frozen fish and fish-products. From 1999 the organisation of the company is controlled by a combined European-Moroccan management. Among other things that has lead to the implementation of an IT infrastructure and the automation of certain processes. At the moment the new management of the company has modernised and expanded their production facilities. Because of the modular design of our production facility we can adjust the capacity easily to the demand of the customer. The production is divided into different sections:

  • Filleting of fish
  • Peeling of shrimps
  • Freezing
  • Packing
  • Cold store facilities
  • Transport

Les Frigorifiques Bouzargtoun is at the moment the only company that imports fresh flatfish and shrimps from Europe, processes it and exports it back to Europe. We will also do contract work as a third party.

Les Frigorifiques Bouzargtoun export to numerous supermarkets, wholesalers and large consumers in Europe, Asia, Africa and North America. Les Frigorifiques Bouzargtoun also provides products under the brand Green Table and frozen products to all supermarkets in Morocco.

Les Frigorifiques Bouzargtoun is the first company in Morocco that is BRC approved as fish processing company.

Les Frigorifiques Bouzargtoun offers many jobs and is therefor very important to the local inhabitants. That is one of the several reasons why the company receives a lot of support from the community.
